Adventure Realms is a worker placement and deck building game where you recruit heroes, gain power within guilds, and fight your way through dungeons.
You'll earn powerful elemental stones to upgrade certain items and heroes and gain extra end-game victory points. You can also complete quests if you meet certain requirements. Stuck in the lower levels of the dungeon? No worries, just play some devastating magic cards to take the lead in the dungeon.
Adventure Realms is designed entirely in 16-bit graphics by FinalBossBlues and graphically designed by Pete Jank. It is reminiscent of the old Super Nintendo games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. When it is your turn, you play one of your hero cards and choose a hero space. You receive certain rewards for these spaces. In addition, the hero card you played gives you certain resources or abilities for that turn.
The player who has traveled the furthest through the dungeon receives the first player reward. The game continues until one player has earned 10 victory points.
