Banners is a sophisticated card game that emphasizes strategic thinking, hand management, and territory control.
Players use their hand cards to influence different locations and gain control at the end of the game.
Each of the five factions in the game has unique cards with values from 1 to 6 that must be used skillfully to gain the upper hand.
During the game, players form secret alliances with these factions, which are only revealed at the big reveal at the end of the game. The remaining cards in each player's hand reveal the alliances formed.
After the final scoring of the locations, the player with the highest card values of each faction receives the victory points, which leads to an exciting and often unpredictable end to the game.
