Desolate - Insurgence

Desolate - Insurgence is an expansion for Grey Gnome Games' solo card game Desolate. It shifts the focus to multiplayer, allowing 1-4 players to experience the sci-fi survival horror experience together.

This is what Desolate - Insurgence offers:

Cooperative Multiplayer Gameplay: The most significant new feature is the ability to play Desolate cooperatively with up to four players. Trapped on a space station after a failed rescue mission, players must work together to launch an escape shuttle before they run out of oxygen or are overpowered by hostile aliens.

Scrap Pile Micro-Expansion: Insurgence introduces a new "scrap pile" mechanic. Players can find scrap and use it in the new "Workshop" location (added via an exploration map) to build a power cell, providing another way to win.

New player components: The expansion includes components for up to four players:

4 Player Cards: Jumbo cards for each player to track their individual resources.

1 Position Marker: A jumbo card to indicate each player's tactical position.

6 black dice (16 mm): Allows each player to track their own conflicts.

9 resource dice (8 mm): For each player to manage his resources.

4 Jumbo Meeples: Transparent meeples to represent each player's position.

10 silver dice (10 mm): For tracking scrap.

New Maps: Insurgence adds more variety to the game:

1 Workshop Exploration Card: Enables the new scrap-based construction of the Energy Cell.

1 Robot Character Card: Introduces a new playable character with unique scrap-based mechanics.

6 Item Cards: More items to discover, including two completely new ones.

10 Tactics Cards: These cards determine which aliens attack which players during conflicts in the multiplayer game.

Please note: The base game is required Desolate , as well as the two expansion packs ( Dark Matters - Pack 1 & Dark Matters - Pack 2 ) . These can be stored in the Desolate - Insurgence game box.
