Desolate - Insurgence

Desolate - Insurgence is an expansion for the solo card game Desolate by Grey Gnome Games. It shifts the focus to multiplayer mode, allowing 1-4 players to experience the sci-fi survival horror together.

Desolate - Insurgence offers:

Cooperative Multiplayer Gameplay: The most significant new feature is the ability to play Desolate cooperatively with up to four players. Trapped on a space station after a failed rescue mission, players must work together to power up an escape shuttle before they run out of oxygen or are overwhelmed by hostile aliens.

Scrap Pile Micro-Expansion: Insurgence introduces a new "Scrap Pile" mechanic. Players can find scrap and use it at the new "Workshop" location (added via an exploration card) to build a power cell, providing another path to victory.

New Player Components: The expansion includes components for up to four players:

4 Player Cards: Jumbo cards for each player to track their individual resources.

1 Position Marker: A jumbo card to indicate each player's tactical position.

6 Black Dice (16mm): Allows each player to track their own conflicts.

9 Resource Dice (8mm): For each player to manage their resources.

4 Jumbo Meeples: Transparent meeples to represent each player's position.

10 Silver Dice (10mm): For tracking scrap.

New Cards: Insurgence adds more variety to the game:

1 Workshop Exploration Card: Enables the new scrap-based construction of the power cell.

1 Robot Character Card: Introduces a new playable character with unique scrap-based mechanics.

6 Item Cards: More items to discover, including two completely new ones.

10 Tactic Cards: These cards determine which aliens attack which players during multiplayer conflicts.

Desolate - Insurgence requires the base game Desolate, as well as both expansion packs (Dark Matters - Pack 1 & Dark Matters - Pack 2). These can be stored in the Desolate - Insurgence game box.
