The game was developed from the ground up to offer 1 to 4 players a repeatable, interactive, and strategic cooperative experience. The key to victory lies in your group's ability to adapt to the ever-present and constantly changing threats of prehistoric life. Should you focus on hunting and gathering to feed your starving tribe? Or should you prioritize fueling the dwindling fire with more wood? 17 UNIQUE CHARACTERS With 17 characters, each with unique abilities and specializations, you have over 2,380 mix-and-match strategy combinations at your disposal. Try out different characters to find your party's favorite playstyle!

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Brave the wilderness to gather resources like berries, plant fibers, stones, meat, wood, hides, and bones! Work together to plan the best uses for the scarce resources you find. Some characters have abilities that help you acquire resources more easily. Equip them with items and unlock new discoveries to reveal their true potential!

FIRE DISCOVERIES To win the game, your tribe must investigate fire to uncover its secrets before it goes out. Each discovery helps you survive another day, and unlocking the ultimate discovery, "Firestarter," means victory! You earn Fire Knowledge Points (FKP) by using Stamina to roll the Fire Cube, which awards between 0 and 3 FKP tokens per roll. You can then spend your FKP on discoveries that benefit the entire group.

VARIOUS DIFFICULTIES The base box contains 4 different Fire Knowledge Trees for you to compete against. Each offers a different level of difficulty and new challenges to overcome!

CRAFT WEAPONS, TOOLS, AND BUILDINGS You must craft various tools, weapons, and buildings to survive long enough to learn the secrets of fire. Tools help you gather resources, while weapons help you survive encounters with hazard cards by providing meat from slain predators and preventing some or even all of the damage you take in combat. There are also extremely useful buildings you can construct to benefit the entire tribe, but choose wisely: you can only build one per game!

Each deluxe edition of "Don't Let It Die" includes the mini-expansion "Daylight".
