While the sheep-men of the human worlds delight in AI-generated virtual realities, advanced ecstatic substances, and erotically fantastical brain implants, it is said that hostile forces are gathering beyond the boundaries of the known universe. A scout must be dispatched to investigate the threat! You have at your disposal the most advanced teleportation technology, allowing you to travel through space-time rifts to the farthest reaches of the cosmos—even to the parts that have existed since the dawn of time, known as Elder Space.

This is a solo space exploration game with minimalist rules, based on the innovative mechanics of DOOM PILGRIM. The mechanics have been adapted to this new, dark future setting to provide the most impressive and immersive experience possible.

You play an investigator who is sent through space-time rifts to the farthest corners of the universe: you are a Riftcrawler Inquisitor.

Aside from various gains and losses, you also accumulate failure points on your journey, which you weigh against success points to determine whether your people will bring you home or abandon you far from your galaxy as expendable, a failed experiment. This way, danger lurks everywhere, and you can't trust anyone.

The game is difficult by default, but there are several options to make it easier, all of which are listed in the rules on the hook box.
