Equinox is an abstract tile-laying game with 48 unique double-sided hexagonal tiles bearing names such as Night, Day, Sword, or Tower. Each tile has a white and a black side, which are otherwise identical.
One player takes Black, the other White. They take turns drawing tiles from a common pool and laying them out until all are played. Each tile has its own ability that affects adjacent tiles, changes the score, or impacts other game elements.
At the end, points are counted for all tiles showing one's own color, plus any collected bonus point markers. The player with the highest total score wins.
