Gate is a solo tower defense game in which you act as the leader of a besieged medieval city.
Your task is to protect the city gate, the tower, and the farm while keeping the citizens' fear at bay. Failure means the end of the game, but by repelling the enemies, you will achieve victory.
The game is based on Deck building ; you start with three cards and can recruit more townspeople with unique abilities as the game progresses. As the enemy waves become increasingly difficult, you must strategically manage your resources.
The Gates playmat can also be used for the base game.
A smaller playmat specifically for Gate is also available.
