In Hope of the Stranded , you explore a derelict spaceship in the hopes of finding three fuel rods and returning to your ship before:
The oxygen runs out,
The shipwreck around you is falling apart or
The alien that hunts you, catches you.
Each turn you choose a new direction to explore, reveal the map and roll the dice to determine orientation. By moving around the ship you gradually reveal the ship's map, but some directions are blocked by walls or locked doors.
Each round the alien also moves, often in your direction. When the oxygen level in the ship drops, the alien moves faster.
You must weigh your actions against the dwindling resources and the speed of the threat you face. Be careful in your movements to avoid the ship falling apart around you.
