A tactical and cooperative card game for 1-2 players: In Kinfire Delve: Vainglory's Grotto , you fight your way through the well deck full of challenge cards to reach Vainglory, the master of the well, and face him in an epic final battle.

Vainglory's Well consists of four challenge cards, with Vainglory himself in the center. Once a challenge is defeated, it is replaced by a new one—there are 52 challenge cards in total. When facing the challenges of the Well, you may only play one skill card from your hand whose color matches the color of the challenge card. That is, if you are facing a red challenge card, you may only play a red skill card. Some cards have two colors, others are white, or wild cards.

If the card you play doesn't overcome the challenge, you can increase your progress and try again—though this may come with a penalty. Other seekers can help by playing one of their own cards as a boost, but beware: if you run out of cards, you'll receive an Exhaustion card before you can draw a new hand. Exhaustion cards are never good, but some are worse than others.

Overcoming a challenge earns you a reward, such as regaining health or progressing further into the well, represented by discarding face-down challenge cards. Once you reach the bottom of the well, you face Vainglory himself. All seekers share a common health pool, and if it reaches zero, you are defeated. This game requires teamwork.
