MECHROMANCERS is a deck-building battle game for two players, inspired by anime and card games of the 90s and early 2000s such as Medabots , Shaman King , and Yu-Gi-Oh!. The absolute highlight of the game is the Spirit Overlay cards. When you channel them, they modify your robot's base stats. This, in turn, affects how much damage you inflict on your opponent, how many cards you draw, and even how much Spirit Power you can use each turn.

The game is designed as a turn-based duel where the goal is to cleverly use your only resource, Spirit Power, to perform actions from your hand and deck. You can also spend Spirit Power to draw new cards from a card pool in the center of the table.

React to your opponent's actions with reaction cards, choose different tactics to put them under pressure, and design your deck so that you can chain together combos and destroy both parts of their mechrobot build!
