" Mottainai " (pronounced mot/tai/nai or like the English words mote-tie-nigh) means "Waste nothing" or "Every little thing has a soul." In the game Mottainai, a sequel to the Glory to Rome series, you use your cards for many purposes. Each player is an acolyte at a temple, completing tasks, gathering materials, and selling or completing works for visitors. Each card can be used for any of these three purposes.

You select tasks to perform actions, keeping in mind that other players can continue your task on their next turn. Smart planning and combining the special abilities of your works is just as important as managing the materials you sell.

Mottainai is a fast-paced but deep gaming experience.
