Neolithic

Publisher's Game Description

"Neolithic" is a two-player card game set at the dawn of the Neolithic Age, with each player taking on the role of their village's leader. "Neolithic" combines elements of hand-building, worker placement, and multi-use cards.

The game is played in alternating turns. Players play Villager cards from their hand to complete tasks and gain more cards, allowing them to unlock Innovation cards and strengthen their culture(s). By recalling these Villagers, the player can play the cards previously acquired.

On each turn, the player chooses one of two options:

Perform a Task Action (play Villager card(s) from hand to one of the five task piles to gain more cards)
Perform a Village Action (recall all Villager cards to hand and, for each Villager recalled, play one non-Villager card into their village).

The game ends when 2 of the 5 tasks run out of cards. Players score points based on the cards in their village. Points are awarded for Culture cards (which award points based on specific symbols), Innovations, and for having the most of certain symbols. The player with the highest score wins.
