In the famineful times of the Middle Ages, you are monks of the Order of the Starving Brother , tending your monastery garden to bring food to the table. Plant your crops wisely to be the first to fill the monastery's menu.
Players must garden on a 3x3 grid , rotating their plants, planning ahead, and completing the menu faster than the others. But the chicken keeps messing up your garden beds! Each turn, you have to chase it to a different space – either to confuse the other gardeners or to protect a plant you'll need in an upcoming turn.
The Order of the Famished Friar is a compact card game in a mint-colored tin for 1–3 players. Most games last only 15–20 minutes . As soon as a player completes the menu, they must immediately shout “ Serve it Forthe! ” – and win the game.
