Explore the wild and treacherous land of Brighthelm with your avian companion as you attempt to learn three of the five virtues: Generosity, Camaraderie, Valor, Knowledge, and Grandeur. Battle a bestiary of creatures, complete quests, find ingredients for powerful recipes, and discover the sights and wonders of an exciting new world along the way. But beware! You're not the only pauper in town...

In Paupers' Ladder, the land of Brighthelm is illustrated with a game board and over 400 cards showing equipment, quests, recipes, monsters, ingredients, encounters, towns, villages, and more.

A solo expansion, One Lonely Pauper, can be downloaded directly from Bedsit Games. However, various solo variants are already included in the game.

(EN) There is not much else to say about the game. It is a full 5 stars. A pure fantasy adventure game where you turn from a nobody into a hero within two hours.

What I would like to add: The Second Edition of the game can be played 1-4 players. All material, that one would need to play solo, including the rules, is already incorporated into the Second Edition.

(DE) Zum Spiel will ich nichts weiter sagen.
