For ages, the tower lay in ruins. Unnoticed by the inhabitants of the realm, something evil stirred within it. It began with strange occurrences: a flock of crows flying in circles until they fell dead from the sky, a lake freezing solid in the middle of summer. Over time, what they feared most could no longer be denied.

Evil was not defeated. Soon, darkness would descend again. The tower will rise.

As a "sequel" to the 1981 Grail game, Return to Dark Tower is a game for 1-4 players who take on the role of heroes. Together, you gather resources, search buildings, defeat monsters, and complete quests to build your strength and discover which enemy ultimately awaits you. Once the heroes confront the tower, the game transitions into its dramatic second act, where players have a single chance to defeat the enemy once and for all.

The game offers both cooperative and competitive play.

It combines classic game mechanics like engine-building and resource management with a technological interface unlike anything seen in any other game – including the eponymous tower, which holds more than a few secrets.
