StoneFire

StoneFire is based on the game Character Quest:Heroes by Calvin Nelson.

Your goal is to make your tribe strong enough to take on the boss, an Allosaurus. Meanwhile, creatures from the wild attack incessantly. If the wilderness pile is ever emptied before the Allosaurus is defeated, the game ends immediately.

StoneFire is a competitive game for 1-4 players that focuses on hand management, with a bit of deck building and set collecting.

Each round, you draw new characters from the tribal deck. These cards are either humans or tamed beasts. You can then use your cards to form a hunting party, either traveling into the wilderness or securing an available location card. Finally, you may add one face-up card to your village (these cards can be used in later rounds) and then draw another. Or you can forgo hunting and place two characters in your village and draw an egg card. These cards can be acquired in a variety of ways and provide bonus points at the end of the game.
