"Castle of the Devil" is a card game for 4 to 8 players.

All players are passengers in a carriage on their way to the Castle of the Devil. Each of them is a member of a secret society, but no one knows who is friend and who is foe.

Each player starts in one of two secret societies. They also receive a secret profession with a special ability. So at the beginning of the game, you have no information about the affiliation and professions of the others. To win the game, each society must jointly collect 3 designated artifacts. Therefore, you must find out who your allies are and where the artifacts are among the other secret items held by the other players. You can obtain this information during the game either by trading objects with other players, as each object has a special ability, such as "Trade it in and you can take a look at your trading partner's society," or by fighting other players, as the winner of a fight can inspect the loser's cards and steal one of them. But be careful: all players can support the attacker OR the defender in a fight. If they know your identity, but you don't know theirs, starting a fight can be risky.
