You have spent your entire life in the sleepy coastal village of Baileytown. Under the watchful eye of your grandfather, Dagris Screbin, you learned tricks from local fishermen and heard wondrous tales from traveling merchants. And yet you remained, content to watch the tide ebb and flow.

But now it's time to leave home and see some of these wonders with your own eyes. Your grandfather's old friend, Alf, has sent a message from the distant city of Hatcheria. Something is wrong. Something that will threaten all of Brighthelm. An ancient evil has awakened.
