In this cooperative game for 1 to 4 players, you'll immerse yourself in a world of cosmic madness for about 45 minutes. Each player takes on a unique character from the cold, forgotten island city of New Arkhamoore on the coast of the 1920s. But the idyllic appearance is deceptive: cosmic horrors crawl out of the dense sea fog, plunging the sleepy town into chaos.

Together against madness

To banish the impending doom back into the cosmic spheres, you must work as a team to translate the Necronomicon, reveal the Great Old One, and close the portals. The key lies in the madness itself that surrounds the city: use it to translate pages, stand against wandering creatures, and save individual locations from complete decay. On the brink of madness, advantages such as additional movement, stronger attacks, and cosmic keenness beckon, but whoever goes too far risks their own sanity. The line between clarity and madness is razor-thin.

Madness is therefore a valuable but double-edged resource: it improves your abilities, but in excess, it can also lead to defeat. The pressure to save the city is palpable from the very first turn.
