Trick Legacy

Rune. Our once-thriving realm had fallen into bitter decline. The great empires of the land collapsed, breaking all treaties and returning to their primal instincts and savagery.

Countless decades have passed, and the remnants of these shattered civilizations have begun to rebuild and emerge anew. It is a time of uncertainty—it is a time of convergence. From princes to peasants, from djinn to diplomats—everyone must prepare for a new life on Rune.

Trick Legacy takes you on a journey through traditional trick-taking games by changing the core mechanics and individual player skills from one game to the next.

In true "Legacy" style, you'll make permanent changes to the deck over the course of the campaign (over several days or weeks) by adding new cards, marking cards with a permanent marker, and even destroying cards. However, these changes will only be made to the two standard decks you'll be using. So when you're ready to start a new campaign, all you need are a few new standard decks.
