Zombie Fluxx

Zombie Fluxx brings the undead to arguably the most adaptable card game in the world. In this edition of Andrew Looney's classic, players not only battle ever-changing rules but also a looming zombie apocalypse.

The Game Principle: Everything in Flux

What makes the Fluxx series special is that almost nothing is fixed at the start. There are no set win conditions and only minimal basic rules. By playing cards, players change the game in real-time:

• New Rules: Determine how many cards you can draw or play.

• Goals: Specify which combination of cards you need to collect to win immediately.

• Keepers: Items or people (like the shotgun or the lumberjack) that you lay in front of you to fulfill goals.

The Zombie Factor

Unlike standard Fluxx, this version introduces Creeper Cards. The zombies land directly in front of you on the table and usually prevent you from winning – even if you meet the current goal. So you must either get rid of them or find a special "anti-zombie goal" to claim victory despite the undead.

How to Play

The process is incredibly easy to learn, as the rules are always openly displayed on the table:

1. Draw cards according to the current rule.

2. Play cards according to the current rule.

3. Immediately lay Zombies (Creeper cards) face-up in front of you. The game ends the moment a player fulfills the conditions of the currently displayed goal.
